Obverse description Front-facing effigy of Chaim Weizmann in high relief occupies the central field, set against a quartered background with the Israel State Emblem (menorah with olive branches) depicted in the lower right quarter. The legend 'CHAIM WEIZMANN' in Latin and Hebrew script arcs along the upper border, while the inscription 'ISRAEL'S FIRST PRESIDENT (1949-1952)' in English and Hebrew runs along the lower border.
