| Obverse description | Central field bears the heraldic shield of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce, depicting industrial and maritime imagery including a wheel, a sailing vessel, crossed anchors, stars, and a figure in relief, with a scroll bearing the legend CHAMBER OF COMMERCE / WELLINGTON across the lower portion of the shield. The shield is flanked by two laurel branches crossing at the base.
