The exergue carries the legend VIRTUS ANGLORUM VICTRIX PERPETVA and the date 1704. The outer circular legend reads MARIS IMPERIUM ASSERT. PORTU GIBRALTAR CAPTO CLASSE GALL FUGATA. |
