Reverse description Britannia, helmeted and seated left amid captured arms, flags and a shield, extends a small figure of Victory toward Neptune, who stands at right with one foot on a shell and holds a trident. A winged figure of Fame flies above, offering two laurel wreaths. An oval cartouche at right bears the inscription GERMANIA SERVAT GALLIS BIS VICT. The exergue carries the legend VIRTUS ANGLORUM VICTRIX PERPETVA and the date 1704. The outer circular legend reads MARIS IMPERIUM ASSERT. PORTU GIBRALTAR CAPTO CLASSE GALL FUGATA.
