Obverse description Four conjoined busts in high relief facing one another in profile: the effigies of Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany (helmeted, with eagle finial) and Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria-Hungary face right on the left side, while the busts of King Ferdinand I of Bulgaria and Ottoman Sultan Mehmed V face left on the right side. The legend GOTT MIT VNS and the date MCMXV appear in the lower exergue, with the engraver's signature WEINBERGER along the left field.
