Obverse description Right-facing bust of Kaiser Wilhelm II in high relief, wearing a Pickelhaube helmet surmounted by a Prussian eagle, dressed in military uniform. The circular legend around the rim quotes his famous speech of 4 August 1914, with the date inscribed in the lower right field. The engraver's signature A. Galambos fec. appears in the lower exergue.
