Obverse description The obverse depicts a high-relief scene of the Resurrection of Lazarus rendered in the style of a medieval Orthodox icon, showing Christ with a nimbus gesturing toward the shrouded figure of Lazarus emerging from the tomb, surrounded by a crowd of figures against an architectural background.
