背面描述	The reverse features a stylised relief map of France with scroll banners radiating from the left and right sides bearing the names of Allied and German commanders. The central field shows sweeping battle-line arrows over the map, with place names including CALAIS, PARIS, VERDUN, and MARNE indicated. Poppy flowers in relief appear at the bottom of the field. At the top, a scroll-and-ribbon motif frames the principal legend, and a designer's monogram 'A' appears at the lower right.
