Obverse description High-relief draped bust of Queen Anne facing left, her hair elaborately dressed and adorned with a laurel spray, wearing a pearl necklace and classical drapery with ornate shoulder clasp. The encircling Latin legend runs between the inner field and the raised rim. Engraver's initials appear in the lower field.

Reverse description Seated figure of Britannia in high relief at centre, facing slightly right, holding an olive branch in her left hand and a long spear in her right, with a crowned oval shield resting beside her. To the left, a fleet of sailing warships rides the waves; to the right, a ploughing scene with a farmer and horse evokes peaceful agriculture. The date MDCCXIII appears in the exergue, and the Latin legend arcs around the upper field between the rim.
