Reverse description The reverse displays the heraldic coat of arms of All Souls College — a chevron between three cinquefoils — surmounted by a mitre, a patriarchal cross to the left and a crozier to the right, with oak branch sprigs above. The dates 1438 and 1938 appear on either side of the shield, marking the quincentenary. A circular legend in blackletter script surrounds the composition.
