| Obverse description | The field is divided into two halves: the left half features a coloured design with a red and white vertical band, a coloured Order of the Red Star in relief, golden fireworks bursts, and the large numeral '65' in gold; the right half shows a mirror-polished field with the sculptural group 'Stand to the Death!' from Mamayev Kurgan in Volgograd framed by an olive branch in relief. The Cyrillic legend '65 ЛЕТ ПОБЕДЫ' runs vertically in the centre, with the inscription 'В ВЕЛИКОЙ ОТЕЧЕСТВЕННОЙ ВОЙНЕ' along the upper and lower border. |
