Obverse description The field displays a bold sculptural relief of a dodecahedron rendered in an open-framework style, its twelve pentagonal faces defined by raised geometric edges against a lightly textured background. The engraver's signature DVARTE appears incuse along the upper left inner rim. The design fills nearly the entire field, conveying a sense of mathematical perfection and totality in keeping with Pythagorean symbolism.
