Reverse description The reverse bears entirely text in relief within the field, with four explorers' names arranged around the border: 'ROBERT O'HARA BURKE', 'WILLIAM JOHN WILLS', 'JOHN KING', and 'CHARLES GRAY'. The central inscription commemorates the 125th anniversary of the Burke and Wills expedition's arrival at the Gulf of Carpentaria on 11th February 1861, with the engraver's initials 'A.J.P.' below the central text.
