Obverse description Four oval medallions arranged around a central shield bearing the Dutch lion, each containing a portrait bust of a Dutch monarch: Willem I (top), Willem II (left), Willem III (right), and Wilhelmina (bottom), with their names inscribed as legends around each medallion. The spaces between the medallions are decorated with laurel and olive branch sprays in relief.

Reverse description A central standing male allegorical figure, draped and holding a caduceus, flanked by two seated female figures representing Agriculture (left, holding a sheaf of wheat with a lion at her side) and Industry (right, accompanied by a cogwheel and tools), all set against radiating sunbeams. The dates 1813 and 1913 appear in the upper field, and the legend is inscribed along the lower exergue.
