Obverse description A swan in full flight is depicted in high relief at centre-right, its wings dramatically extended and neck outstretched to the left, rendered with finely detailed feather engraving. The legend AUSTRALIA arcs across the lower-centre field in bold Latin characters. Below the legend, a St. Edward's Crown is depicted in fine relief, flanked by the date 2024 at the bottom. The composition references the design of the historic ACR Swan pattern dollar proposal.

Reverse description The large denomination numeral 100 dominates the field, rendered in bold outline numerals filled with intricate sprays of Wattle (Acacia) flowers and foliage. Prolific clusters of Wattle blossoms and elongated phyllodes radiate across the entire field, extending beyond and through the numeral forms to fill the design to the rim. The overall composition is deeply struck with fine botanical detail, evoking the national floral emblem of Australia.
