The Arma Christi (Instruments of the Passion) arranged in a radial star pattern around a central chalice set atop a fluted column, surmounted by the cock of Saint Peter. The surrounding instruments include nails, a scourge, dice, a lantern, pincers, ropes, a hammer, a pillar of flagellation, the seamless tunic, and a chain, all rendered in crisp relief. The engraver's mark .F.F. (Friedrich Fecher) accompanied by a set square appears at the bottom of the field. |
