The names PIERRE and ALEXANDRE flank the portraits within the inner circle, with a bilingual legend in French and Serbian Cyrillic below the busts. The lower field bears the inscription JOURNÉE SERBE, and the engraver's name and dates 1914–1915 appear in small lettering within the medallion. |
