Obverse description Jugate busts of King Peter I and Crown Prince Alexander of Serbia in right profile, set within a circular medallion surmounted by a royal crown, the whole mounted on a double-headed eagle with spread wings. The names PIERRE and ALEXANDRE flank the portraits within the inner circle, with a bilingual legend in French and Serbian Cyrillic below the busts. The lower field bears the inscription JOURNÉE SERBE, and the engraver's name and dates 1914–1915 appear in small lettering within the medallion.

Reverse description A central circular medallion displays a composite arrangement of the coats of arms of the Allied nations, surmounted by a crested eagle, the whole enclosed within a beaded border. The legend GLOIRE AUX INTREPIDES HEROS SERBES runs around the upper portion of the inner circle, and the date 1916 appears in the lower field of the shield-shaped plaque, which is flanked by the wings of a double-headed eagle surmounted by a royal crown.
