Reverse description The colored coat of arms of Argelès-sur-Mer is depicted centrally: a shield bearing the red and gold vertical stripes of Aragon, overlaid with a white lozenge charged with a tree and four fleurs-de-lis in blue, and a green base. Decorative gold scrollwork flanks the shield on either side. The legend arcs along the upper border, and the maker's mark 'MP' appears within a circle at lower right.
