DP Rudnik mrkog uglja u Zenici — the Zenica brown coal mine enterprise — issued meal coupons as part of the broader Yugoslav system of worker benefits administered directly by self-managed enterprises (radne organizacije). These were not currency substitutes in any monetary sense but internal scrip redeemable only at the mine's own canteen facilities.
