Reverse description Reverse field bearing a compact Arabic inscription in Maghribi script, similarly rendered in high relief, with legends identifying the mint and AH date of issue. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with the hammered technique employed at the Rabat al-Fath mint. The strike is moderately well-centred but shows characteristic weakness at the periphery, typical of low-denomination Moroccan mazunas of this period. The flat field surrounding the inscription is undecorated, in keeping with the austere monetary style of Sultan Sidi Mohammed III's third coinage standard.
