Reverse description Central field displays a prominent six-pointed star (hexagram), formed by two interlocking triangles, with an abbreviated Arabic mint date legend reading '94' (٩۴), referring to the regnal year AH 1094 (1683 AD), placed within the interstices of the star. The design is characteristic of Tripolitan mangir coinage of this period, struck on a roughly circular, irregular flan with a plain edge. The overall relief is bold but uneven, consistent with hammered production.
