| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a bold Arabic legend struck in raised relief within a cartouche or shield-shaped frame, with rudimentary decorative border elements surrounding it. The hammered flan is irregular in shape and shows characteristic uneven surfaces typical of Anatolian beylik copper coinage. The inscription is crudely but forcefully executed in angular script. The overall style reflects the provincial mint practice of the Sarukhanid rulers of western Anatolia. |
