| Obverse description | Stylized Arabic-script legend occupying the central field of the irregularly shaped flan, struck on a small billon planchet typical of Crimean Khanate copper-silver coinage. The inscription, rendered in a cursive Naskh hand, references the mint of Bakhchysarai and the regnal authority of Sahib II Giray. The design is characteristic of hammered Tatar manghir coinage, with the lettering boldly raised against a flat, unadorned field. Die alignment is irregular, consistent with hand-struck production methods of the period. |
