Reverse description The reverse displays a multi-line Arabic legend in naskh script arranged within a plain cartouche, occupying the majority of the flan. The inscription reads 'May God perpetuate his reign. Struck in Tire,' identifying both the pious invocation and the mint of issue. The legend is distributed across multiple horizontal lines, with the mint name 'Tire' appearing in the lower register. Strike quality is typical of fifteenth-century Ottoman copper production, with some flatness at the margins consistent with hammered coinage.
