The pious invocation 'May God perpetuate his reign' occupies the upper portion of the field, while the mint name 'Amasya' appears in the lower portion prefaced by the word 'ضرب' (struck). The surfaces display the same green verdigris patination as the obverse, with the lettering rendered in raised relief against a granular background characteristic of small copper issues from the Amasya mint under Mehmed II. |
