The lettering is bold and occupies the majority of the flan, with the strike showing characteristic weakness and irregularity typical of early Ottoman mangir coinage. The script is Naskh, boldly rendered across the flan, with the numerals of the date visible in the lower portion of the field. The overall strike is typical of provincial hammered copper issues of the interregnum period. |
