Obverse description Hammered copper flan of irregular round shape bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in the field. The titulature of the sultan is rendered in flowing Naskh script across two or three lines, reading 'Al-Sultan Al-Malik Al-Azam Muhammad Bayezid', identifying the ruler as Mehmed Celebi, son of Bayezid I. The lettering is bold and occupies the majority of the flan, with the strike showing characteristic weakness and irregularity typical of early Ottoman mangir coinage. No border or decorative elements are present.
