| 正面描述 | Central field bears a bold geometric or floral device enclosed within a circular dotted border, characteristic of Mamluk hammered bronze coinage. The design element, possibly a stylized floral rosette or knot motif, is rendered in raised relief against the flat field. A plain raised rim encircles the dotted border, with the irregular flan edge typical of hand-struck Mamluk fals production. The field shows the coarse surface texture inherent to cast or hammered bronze of this period. |

Muhammad I ibn Qalawun held the sultanate across three separate reigns — deposed twice, restored twice — making the attribution of undated Mamluk fals particularly fraught. Halab (Aleppo) functioned as a major provincial mint under his administration, and bronzes from this mint circulated well below the level of careful record-keeping. Most survived in the ground rather than in treasuries.
Balog's reference II#236a places this firmly within the third reign, 1310–1341, though die alignment and flan preparation on Halab issues varied considerably within that window.
