| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Magnentius facing right, rendered in the robust late Roman style with finely striated hair swept back from the forehead. The emperor is depicted with a strong, bearded portrait, wearing a paludamentum fastened at the right shoulder. The circumferential Latin legend reads D N MAGNEN-TIVS P F AVG, with the letter A positioned in the left field as a control mark. A beaded border frames the design. |

| Reverse description | Two Victories standing facing one another, each winged and draped, jointly supporting between them a shield or votive inscribed VOT V MVLT X, set upon a low altar or column. Both figures are depicted in the late Roman frontal style with detailed drapery folds visible. The exergue carries the mint mark TQS (or variant depending on officina), identifying production at Aquileia. The surrounding Latin legend VICTORIAE DD NN AVG ET CAES proclaims victory for the emperors and Caesars, while the votive inscription records the fifth-anniversary vows with aspirations toward the tenth. |
