| Reverse description | The votive legend VOT X MVLT XX is inscribed in two lines within a laurel wreath, commemorating Julian's decennial vows and anticipation of his vicennial vows. The wreath is tied at the base with a decorative knot. In the exergue, the mint signature appears between two palm branches, identifying the officina and the Constantinople mint (CONSP followed by the officina letter A, B, Γ, or Δ). The composition conveys the formulaic imperial vow renewal iconography standard to late Roman bronze coinage. |
