Obverse description Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Honorius facing right, rendered in the late Roman imperial style typical of the Theodosian period. The pearl diadem is clearly delineated across the brow, with the paludamentum fastened at the right shoulder. The circumferential Latin legend reads D N HONORIVS P F AVG, identifying the emperor as Dominus Noster Honorius, Pius Felix Augustus. The flan shows characteristic late antique fabric with slightly irregular edges, and the portrait, though worn, retains the broad-shouldered military presentation standard for this reign.
