| Beschrijving voorzijde | Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Arcadius facing right, wearing a pearl diadem with flowing ribbons visible behind the head. The emperor's effigy is rendered in the late Roman imperial style, with detailed beaded diadem and layered paludamentum over the breastplate. The legend surrounds the bust in the field, reading clockwise from the lower left. The flan is irregular and slightly worn, consistent with a struck bronze issue of the Theodosian period. |
