| Opis rewersu | Victory seated to the right upon a cippus (a low rectangular stone base), actively inscribing the Chi-Rho Christogram (☧) upon a large round shield resting against the cippus. The composition is a powerful statement of Christian imperial triumph, the Christogram symbolising divine protection of the Roman state. A letter T appears in either the left or right field, denoting the emission within the officina series. The mint signature appears in the exergue, identifying the Constantinople mint and its fifth officina. |
