Reverse description A pastoral scene depicts a shepherd standing at left playing a flute, with a goat lying at his feet, cattle and a calf nursing at center-right, and a dog herding the flock, all beneath a rising sun with radiating rays filling the upper field; an all-seeing eye surrounded by rays appears at the zenith. A building is visible in the background at center, and a tree provides shade at right. The lower exergue contains a four-line inscription identifying the issuer and date. The circular legend ALTIS SIC PROVIDUS IMIS runs along the upper periphery.
