| 正面描述 | Central design featuring a stylized lotus flower in full bloom, depicted with layered petals and a prominent central pistil, resting upon broad lily pads in low relief. The motif occupies the center of the field and is rendered in a naturalistic yet decorative style characteristic of Siamese court artistry of the period. Below the lotus, the Thai numeral inscription ๑๑๙๗ (Chula Sakarat year 1197, corresponding to 1836 CE) appears in the lower field. The coin is bordered by a continuous beaded rim encircling the entire design. |

Rama III oversaw Thailand's last significant period of isolation before Western treaty pressure cracked open Siamese trade — this coinage predates the Bowring Treaty of 1855 by nearly two decades and circulated under a court that still controlled its own monetary terms entirely. The bullet coin form, of which this is a flat struck adaptation, had been the dominant Siamese monetary object for centuries before Western-influenced milled coinage displaced it under Rama IV.
