| Obverse description | Head of a youthful male deity facing three-quarters to the right, rendered in fine Sicilian style with flowing, carefully detailed wavy hair bound by a wreath or fillet. The face displays finely modeled features characteristic of late fifth- to early fourth-century BCE Sicilian coinage. The Greek ethnic legend ΠIAKINOΣ is distributed around the periphery of the flan. The flan is irregular and slightly rough at the edges, consistent with the small hammered silver coinage of interior Sicilian communities. |

| Reverse description | A bull charging or butting to the left, rendered with vigorous naturalism typical of Sicilian silver coinage of the early fourth century BCE; the animal's muscular body is shown in profile with its head lowered as if in mid-charge. Above the bull, the retrograde or abbreviated ethnic legend ΑΔΡΑΝΟΣ is inscribed in the field. The exergue is plain. The composition closely parallels the bull-type reverses associated with the inland Sicilian city of Adranon, suggesting a close civic or monetary relationship with that community. |
