Obverse description Facing lion's scalp depicted in full frontal view, rendered in archaic Greek style with bold, high-relief modelling. The mane is rendered as a series of incised parallel wavy lines fanning outward above the forehead, while the prominent brow ridges, wide-set eyes, and broad muzzle with flattened nose are strongly articulated.
