Beschrijving voorzijde A rampant lion facing left with head turned to the right occupies the central field, brandishing a raised sword in its right forepaw and bearing a shield in its left. The lion, rendered in high relief with fine detail in the mane and musculature, serves as the heraldic emblem of the insurgent Belgian provinces. The encircling Latin legend, punctuated by stops, reads DOMINI EST REGNVM, with the date 1790 and the stylized words LI BER TAS incorporated into the legend, alluding to the revolutionary ideal of liberty.

Beschrijving keerzijde Eleven heraldic shields, representing the eleven provinces of the United Belgian States — Flandre Orientale, Flandre Occidentale, Brabant, Hainaut, Tournai, Namur, Luxembourg, Liège, Limbourg, Anvers, and Malines — are arranged in a circle around a central radiant glory design. The shields are depicted with individual provincial arms, emphasizing the confederate nature of the issuing authority. A continuous Latin legend encircles the composition, and the overall arrangement conveys both political unity and religious authority. The reverse design is characteristic of the short-lived insurrection coinage struck during the Brabantine Revolution of 1790.
