Reverse description Schematic architectural representation of a church or cathedral building, depicted frontally with a central nave, flanking towers surmounted by crosses, and a arched gateway at the base, consistent with Romanesque ecclesiastical imagery associated with Bamberg Cathedral. The structure is rendered in a flat, linear style with bold relief lines defining the towers and roof forms. A beaded border runs along the inner edge of the coin. The composition is typical of episcopal coinage of the Bamberg bishopric in the mid-12th century.
