Reverse description	Printed in green intaglio on white paper. The central oval vignette depicts a scene of miners at work underground, surrounded by four large rosette guilloche motifs at the corners, each containing the denomination '½'. 'CHEQUE CIRCULAR' and 'PERU' appear in an arc at the top of the central vignette frame, with 'MEDIA LIBRA PERUANA DE ORO' in a straight legend at the foot of the note. The printer's imprint 'AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY' appears at the bottom centre.
