| Beschrijving voorzijde | A dolphin passant left occupies the central field within a beaded inner circle. The creature is rendered in a stylized late medieval manner, with pronounced snout and curved tail. The surrounding legend, struck in uncial characters, reads LVDOVICVS FRAnCORV REX, identifying Louis XII as King of France. The irregular flan and variable strike are characteristic of hammered billon coinage of the period. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A plain cross divides the reverse field into four quarters, with a small annulet placed in one quarter as a mint or privy mark. The cross extends to a beaded inner circle, and the surrounding uncial legend SIT nOMEn DnI BEnEDICTVM — a Scriptural invocation meaning 'Blessed be the name of the Lord' — runs along the outer margin of the coin. The overall design conforms to the standard type for French billon liards of the late 15th and early 16th centuries. |
