Reverse description Five small escutcheons arranged in cruciform pattern, overlying crossed episcopal crozier and temporal sword, symbolising the dual spiritual and secular authority of the Prince-Bishop. The central shield bears the arms of Liège surmounted by an electoral cap; the surrounding shields represent, from top clockwise: Loon, Franchimont, Hornes, and Bouillon. The continuous Latin legend around the periphery of the field enumerates the titles and territorial holdings of the issuer.
