| Obverse description | Right-facing draped and cuirassed bust of Henry de la Tour d'Auvergne, Duke of Bouillon, wearing a milled ruff collar and armor with pauldron visible at the truncation. The effigy is rendered in high relief with strong facial modeling and a short beard. A horizontal rule separates the bust from the date '1614' inscribed in the lower exergue, flanked by pellets. The encircling Latin legend runs along the outer border of the obverse field. |
