| Reverse description | The central device consists of the large conjoined initials F and B — for Ferdinandus Bavarus — separated by a tall ornamental fleur-de-lis sceptre or monument surmounted by a small cross. Above the initials, a princely crown is prominently displayed. The surrounding circular Latin legend, partially visible on the periphery, continues the titulature of the issuer. The overall composition is bold and emblematic, typical of early seventeenth-century Low Countries ecclesiastical coinage. |
