| Beschrijving voorzijde | Hammered Arabic legend extending longitudinally along the flattened face of the bent wire flan, characteristic of the larin form. The inscription, struck in a single band across the field, bears the royal titulature of Shah Tahmasp I in cursive Naskh script, including his full regnal epithets and Safavid dynastic titles. The surface is irregular, reflecting the hand-struck technique on a folded silver rod, with some areas of uneven strike and natural flan distortion. No figurative devices or borders are present, the design consisting entirely of the epigraphic legend. |
