| Beschrijving voorzijde | Larin formed from a coiled silver wire struck with dies derived from a round şahi coin. The obverse impression bears a partial Arabic legend in several lines, though only fragments of the inscription are legible on the rare surviving examples due to the limited contact area of the curved flan. The legend references Sultan Murad Khan, son of Selim Shah, invoking divine victory by land and sea. The lettering is in a traditional Ottoman script style consistent with the period. |
