Reverse description Struck with a circular die of the 'mill sail' type on the reverse face of the bent wire flan, opposite the royal titulature side. The die impression contains a multi-line Arabic Shi'a profession of faith arranged within the circular die field in Naskh script. The legend enumerates the Twelve Imams of Twelver Shi'a Islam following the Shahada, a hallmark of Safavid coinage theology. The stamp is partially overlapping the obverse impression due to the compressed hairpin form, with die placement and flan width causing minor legend truncation at the margins.
