| Obverse description | Struck using a circular die of the 'mill sail' type applied to a bent silver wire flan, producing an irregular hairpin-shaped planchet characteristic of the larin denomination. The die impression bears a multi-line Arabic legend in angular Naskh script, identifying the ruler with his full royal titulature. The stamp is centrally placed on the flattened body of the wire, with the legend arranged concentrically within the circular die field. Surface texture is rough due to the hammered wire-flan technique, with portions of the legend occasionally running off the edges of the flan. |
