Obverse description The obverse field is entirely occupied by a four-line Arabic inscription in bold hammered relief, divided by horizontal ruled lines. The legend reads 'خان / شاهين كراى / بن احمد كراى / سلطان', identifying the issuing ruler Shahin Giray, son of Ahmed Giray, with the title Khan and Sultan. The script is executed in a vigorous, large-format Naskh style characteristic of late Crimean Khanate copper coinage. The coin exhibits a granulated border around the periphery. The overall presentation is aniconic, consistent with Islamic numismatic tradition.
